A presidential release Thursday indicates he is expected to arrive in Buenos Aires on a state visit to meet with his Argentinean peer, Nestor Kirchner, and strengthen bilateral ties.
Both presidents are expected to sign several agreements at the end of a working meeting among ministers from the two countries.
Correa's agenda also includes a meeting with students at the University of Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo, after which he will travel to New York to attend the 62nd session of the UN General Assembly, during which he is expected to give a speech.
