Arranged by the Health and Environment Sub Commission of the parliamentarian entity the event expects to become a forum in which new ideas and proposals will arise.
Assembly member Jaime Abril, chief of the sub-commission noted the event seeks participation of large social and agricultural sectors.
Among issues to tackle is institutionalization, the State's role and citizens participation, access to land, agro-diversity and support of small and mid-sized producers.
Observations on articles that could be introduced in the future laws are also accepted to complete this food sovereignty system.
The president of the parliamentarian entity Fernando Cordero will preside over the event to which social, academic, non governmental organizations and the productive sector have been invited.
