Mukherjee received the Ecuadorian minister in the Hyderabad mansion where they talked about bilateral links in culture, defense, cooperation and agriculture.
Salvador arrived in New Delhi for a fast one day visit in which she also met with Defense minister A.K. Anthony.
In the cooperation aspect, it was discussed the establishment by India of an Information and Technology Center in Ecuador to contribute in the development of this area in the country, said to Prensa Latina Ecuadorian ambassador, Carlos Abad.
Likewise, they discussed about international issues and as member nations of G-20 both ministers agreed on the need to introduce democratic reforms to the United Nations and its system.
Specifically, both ministers affirmed on the importance to reshape financial organisms of Bretton Woods so they can be more representatives and serve the interests of the world better.
After the meeting they assisted the signing ceremony of a program of cultural exchange between 2009 and 2011 and a memorandum destined to foster the links in agricultural development.
