Ecuador Denies Venezuelan Interference

Lima, Jul 6 (Prensa Latina) Ecuadorian Foreign Affairs Minister Maria Fernanda Espinosa categorically denied that the Venezuelan government is interfering in her country's domestic problems, which it can solve on its own, she asserted.

In a radio interview, Espinosa, who is officially visiting Peru, rejected speculations on supposed Venezuelan interference in Ecuador and she said that her country implements their own way to solve the demands of its citizens.

We Ecuadorian people are sufficiently creative, reflective and responsible to give our own responses to our own problems, she assured.

In response to a question, she said the government of President Rafael Correa has no plans to withdraw the concession from any private TV.

The foreign minister expressed that Ecuador is planning to negotiate the Agreement of Negotiation as planned, and not a free trade treaty, since that is not the best for the people.
